Swim with Sam is dedicated to water safety for babies/toddlers. Babies as young as 6 months can begin swim lessons and learn the foundations of water safety. The goal is to get them comfortable, learn to flip over and breathe, and kick to wall safely.
Our teaching style is based on survival swimming while incorporating a highly engaging and stimulating games. Babies are superstars, as we expect nothing less from them. Ensuring they are safe during any fall in the pool is top priority.
According to the Center for Disease Control, Children ages 1 to 4 have the highest drowning rates. In 2014, among children 1 to 4 years old who died from an unintentional injury, one-third died from drowning. Among children ages 1 to 4, most drownings occur in home swimming pools. Drowning is responsible for more deaths among children 1-4 than any other cause except birth defects.
Swim with Sam has years of experience teaching babies/toddlers of all abilities and can guarantee the safety of any child. If you or someone you know has a child, please consider teaching them how to swim. Whether you have a pool or not. EVERYONE deserves how to learn to swim.
Lessons for children 6 months to 5 years old are 30 minutes. Parents are NOT required to be in the water during the lessons- but are welcome.
